Soon, I will write about what Ahsoka got “right” and “wrong” about the above Smurf. In the meantime, here’s an update on my “43 Questions I Need Answered By Thrawn's Return.” The ones the show answered definitively are in bold.
Has Thrawn let his exile hair grow out again? No.
Are Ezra and Thrawn bros now? Seems like a “No,” pending a twist.
Where is Karyn Faro? Is she safe? Is she alright? Unclear.
Does Thrawn know the Empire has collapsed? I’m guessing “Yes” given he and Morgan were reviewing that map together.
Did Ezra sense Palpatine’s death? Unclear, but leaning “No.”
How many people, exactly, got stranded? Unclear, but seems like a lot.
When did The Chimera run out of fuel? Never? But the engines are kind of broken.
Did they find a nice planet to live on? Unclear but leaning “No.”
Does Ezra have a beard? Yes.
Have Thrawn’s troops remained loyal? Emphatic yes.
Did the Chiss ever go looking for Thrawn? Unclear.
Is the Chiss Syndicure secretly happy about the disappearance? Unclear.
Is the temple portal to the World Between Worlds still housed in The Chimera? Unclear.
Are the Grysk native to this new galaxy? Unclear.
Did they repair the windows the Purgill punched out? Yes.
Why is Thrawn friends with Morgan Elsbeth? Unclear, but we know why she was the conduit to his return, so this has functionally been addressed.
What did Baylan mean when he told Shin Thrawn would given them power? Apparently he meant finding Thrawn would give them power because it would allow them to discover other ancient Force mysteries of Peridea.
Did Thrawn ever consider riding a whale back to the prime galaxy? Unclear.
Did Thrawn ever try to convince Ezra to sky-walk his Star Destroyer home? Guessing not.
Have they incorporated local warriors into the 7th Fleet? Unclear but the 7th Fleet has clearly been rebranded as a Nightsister-fusion army. So, basically, yes.
Why is Thrawn’s white Grand Admiral’s uniform still so clean in the trailer? Actually it looks terrible.
Will Thrawn call the prime galaxy “Lesser Space” again? Not yet.
Has Ahsoka read Heir to the Empire? Is that why she keeps saying it? Maybe Huyang read it to her.
Do they have the remaining TIE Defender prototypes with them? They weren’t in that hangar.
What’s Eli Vanto up to? No one will tell me and it’s making me sad.
Will the Eye of Sion wrap around The Chimera like a literal hyperspace ring? That seems to be where we’re heading.
Does Baylan want Ezra as an apprentice? I don’t think so. But a team-up is plausible.
How much art from this new galaxy has Thrawn collected in 12 years? His whole ship seems heavy on witch motifs.
Is Shin going to duel Ezra? Very possibly.
Why is Captain Pellaeon so sure Thrawn is coming back? He must’ve gotten an advance screener of the show.
Will Thrawn’s return be heralded by a Fortnite event? No.
Are they subsisting on those Imperial ration biscuits from The Mandalorian? I’m not sure they’re subsisting at all. Getting an undead vibe.
Will Thrawn’s first line be “Perhaps...”? Nope.
Did they CGI Thrawn’s face to look less like Elon Musk? He did seem less Musklike to me.

Does Thrawn really care about restarting the Empire? It seems so.
Does Thrawn know about the First Order? Unclear.
Is Thrawn going to uncover the vault on Weyland? Unclear, maybe in Filoni’s movie.
Is Exegol going to become the new Weyland? Doubtful.
Did any of the crew have kids in the interim, creating Thrawn-cultist children? The Thrawn cult is very much happening.
Has Ezra missed Sabine as much as she’s missed him? Seems so.
Is Thrawn as the main villain a fake out? Sadly maybe not.
Oh no, are we doing the Yuuzhan Vong? Thankfully probably not.
Now, however, I have more questions:
Was Thrawn thinking about Eli and Ar’alani when Sabine accused him of having no friends and he got huffy?
Are these Nightsister Troopers alive or Marrok-like zombies? Is it a mix?
Are they hauling literal corpses out of the catacombs or are there armaments in those caskets?
Where are all the officers? Did the Stormtroopers kill them? Are they in the caskets? Are they in the Stormtrooper armor?
If stranding Ezra is as good as killing him, why bother?
Are the Great Mothers traveling back with them?
Who exactly are the enemies he is so set on attacking?
Does Thrawn remember that Ahsoka invented his beloved Marg-Sabl Maneuver?
Has Thrawn lost his mind in exile and is looking for petty revenge?
Thrawn “again needs use” of the Great Mothers’ Dark Magick. Was the first need calling Morgan, or something more?
Is the map Morgan and Thrawn were studying the eventual “map to Luke Skywalker” from “the archives of the Empire”? (I spied a familiar little cutout section on the margins.)
Why were Shin and Sabine staring at each other so much? (This one isn’t strictly Thrawn-related.)
